What you will be doing
You will be a part of one of the most ambitious and value added global leading logistics organizations that is ready to enter the European market via their HQ in The Netherlands. They are looking for a motivated and determined Logistics Sales Professional to reach goals together. You will work alongside the brightest talents in the industry within a supportive and motivating environment.
Headquartered in Shanghai, the organization provides the full scope of supply chain services, ranging from 4PL programs, warehousing, value added services, e-commerce services, domestic transportation, freight forwarding (ocean, air, train), customs clearance (import & export) and project cargo handling. The organization is currently operating their own warehouses in 4 major port city's in China. The newly established satellite office based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, focuses on supporting European customer relations and business development.
The tasks and activities include:
- Take full ownership of key accounts, ensuring smooth coordination of all moving parts.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients on strategic and tactical matters, focusing on commercial and key operational aspects.
- Collaborate with Operations to monitor KPIs, resolve customer issues, and ensure satisfaction.
- Champion the client’s needs during internal discussions and decision-making .
- Build and nurture close relationships with decision-makers within the client’s organization.
- Gather and share customer feedback with internal teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Communication and Negotiation:
- Lead day-to-day communications with clients, including in-person meetings and visits.
- Proactively liaise with internal departments to ensure client needs are met.
- Manage commercial negotiations, such as rate adjustments, in alignment with internal strategies.
- Value Driven Solutions:
- Design bespoke logistics solutions tailored to client need.
- Prepare and provide competitive quotes and bids.
- Identify future business opportunities by maintaining high client engagement and exploring innovative solutions.
- Project Management:
- Oversee financial matters like accounts receivable in collaboration with the Finance team.
- Utilize appropriate tools for tracking activities, reporting, and enhancing internal collaboration.
- Implement and maintain Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) that align with client requirements.
- Establish structured reporting to monitor client performance and identify upsell opportunities.
- Facilitate regular meetings with clients and internal teams to align on goals and address challenges.
About you
The ideal candidate is a proactive and results-driven professional who thrives in dynamic environments. You bring creativity and strategic thinking to the table and are comfortable navigating complex challenges.
What are the requirements
- You have a completed bachelor or masters degree in a business or logistics education, higher sales, communication or similarly.
- 8-10 years of experience in supply chain or logistics, with at least 3-5 years in Key Account and Project Management.
- Solid knowledge of sea freight, air freight, rail, trucking, warehousing, and 4PL.
- Proven ability to design innovative solutions for key accounts.
- Strong customer-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in multicultural and global teams.
- Fluency in Polish and English.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Customer empathy, you know what it takes to succeed in your relationship.
- Excellent written & verbal communication in English.
- Professional written & verbal communication in Dutch (pre).

Salary & work conditions
- Based on first interview the company will make you an interesting proposal.
- Travel; 30% of the time (Europe + Asia)
